!SOURCE: Email from Jill Trethewey (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 20 Dec 2024. "John Wippell (c1785-1847) was a stage coach proprietor and an innkeeper and he was not born in Somerset. Where he came from is still unknown, except that he doubtless arrived by coach. Maybe if you come across other Whipple / Wippell families who were connected with stage coaches or inns it might be a clue.
