I have photos of Jane, and one that is titled "Aunt Maria, grandma Jane (Willis) Snyder's sister." She is without a doubt her sister, judging from comparing the photos. I can only come up with a Lenora as a sister to Jane, brothers William, John A and a half sister, Harriet born to Nancy Lafferty."

etc. She writes: "My family owns the land that William Wallace Whipple, born
Oct. 17, 1837, bought in 1872 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.Y When the Whipple
house on the property was torn down, Civil War letters were discovered in the
walls of the house.Y We still have the letters, which are in very poor
condition and are trying to decipher the writing.Y We have done extensive
research on his family.Y Oak Hill Cemetery was part of Williamus farm and his
second wife, Anna and son Levi Albert, age 9, are buried there.Y We have added
them to www.findagrave.com
