In the Name of God Amen, I William Hutchins of Harvard in the County of Worcester, Gentleman, this _____ day of August A D 1764 being of sound and disposing mind and memory though advanced in years and considering my own mortality think fit to make and ordain my last will and testament which is as follows viz:Imprimis Recommending my soul to God through the mercy of the Redeemer I order my body at my decease to be decently buried by my executrix herein after named
Item I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin Hutchins one shilling to be paid by my executrix herein after named on demand.
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Atherton one shilling to be paid by my executrix herein after named on demand.
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Abigail Whitney one shilling to be paid by my executrix herein after named on demand.
Item I give and bequeath to my son Gordon Hutchins one shilling to be paid by my executrix herein after named on demand
Item I give and bequeath to my son William Hutchins one shilling to be paid by my executrix herein after named on demand
Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Betty Whitney one shilling to be paid by my executrix herein after named on demand
Item I give and bequeath to my son Johathan Hutchins my gun.
Item I give and bequeath to my Beloved wife Hepsibah, the use and improvement of all the rest and residue of my estate of what nature or kind soever for and during the term she shall remain my widow and upon her marrying again or decease which ever shall happen first I then give and devise all the same estate to my three children viz: Jonathan Hutchins, Esther Hutchins and David Hutchins and their heirs equally to be divided between them.
Lastly I appoint my beloved wife Hepsibah executrix of this my last will and testament and hereby revoking all other wills and bequeaths. I ordain this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the day and year above said.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Hutchins the testator to be his last will and testament before us who in his presence subscribed and named as witnesses Benj. Davis, Joseph Clarke Jr., Johathan Cressey, Benjamin Davis Jr.
