!FATHER: Both D.C. Smith and A.F. Angell give Susannah/Susan's father as Abraham Whipple, without giving any further information. Might it be possible that her brother Abraham (the famous Commodore) was so well known that he was recorded as her father instead.? C.H. McGuigan shows Susanna as Commodore Abraham's brother.
!SPOUSE: D.C. Smith, A.F. Angell, and C.H. McGuigan all show Susanna[h] as the wife of (1) Elisha Angell and (2) James Angell.
