Whipple, Solomon Court May 8 1767 Whereas Daniel whipple was selected P,77 & allowed to be Guardian to Solomon Whipple a minor of town of Norwich, who for some time has been absent, The sd Guardian being desirous of rendering his account and resign his office which is granted , whereupon this court appoints Mr. Ebenezer Witter of Preston to be guardian to sd Solomon Whipple a minor, son of Zephaniah Whipple deceased , He accepted the trust.

Whipple, solomon Continued, Ebenezer Witter gave Bond of £300. P.95 5 April. 1768 Court held, Upon a motion made to the Judge. By Zephaniah Whipple of Norwich that admr. of Estate of his deceased or absent brother Solomon Whipple late of Norwich. might be granted him. Citations were issued out to notify. the parties in that case confirmed to appear if they saw. cause before this Court to show reasons if any they had, why. administration should not be granted, the parties appeared .and were heard in the case Whereupon the Court (upon consideration of the matter) nagatived the motion of sd zephaniah, Whipple and denying the granting administration to him, P.117 4 April 1769 This court grants full power of Admr.. of all. Estate of Solomon Whipple late of Norwich deceased to Elijah Eams & Keziah his wife, They appeared and accepted the Trust. & gave Bond with surety (Nr Benj Gear) of Groton is sum of £ 500. for a faithfull discharge of the trust. P.128 Court 3 Oct, 1769 An Inv. of above Estate amounting to l2l8 .6.5. is by Elijah Ames Admr. on sd Estate recorded, Admr, ohgs wars. £.12.5.2 Remaining to dist. £206 .1.3. Court appoints wm. Witter Esq. Mr Jonathan both of Preston, & Mr Ebenezer. Panderson of Norwich all freeholders to exhibit Estate to and among brothers & sisters is equal Proportion. There being 3 namely Zephaniah. Isaiah, Elijah. P. 129 Court held Oct. 7,1769 an additional Inv. totaled £52.0.0 £.257.3.5. for Dist, after expenses taken out. The Distributors were empowered to made dist. exclusive of the deceased Right in the widows thirds.
