Another record shows a Thomas (b. 16 Mar 1772 in Connecticut--parents not identified) married to Lydia Gates in Nov 1778. Yet another Thomas Whipple is listed (without parents), b. 1751 in Charlestown, Sullivan, New Hampshire, d. 1838.
