Today I went to the Connecticut State Library to see if I might pick up a few tidbits that may have been overlooked in my research.I found the will of Solomon Whipple (1770-1801). It is dated Norwich, CT 10 August 1801. It was probated in Norwich, CT where the Whipple family lived. The probate record contains documents that range from the time of his death until at least 1823.
