One daughter mentioned in Stephen's will, Anna Metcalf wife of Ebenezer Metcalf of Cumberland, is not included with Stephen's children on the Whipple Genweb. The info I have on her is below. Their marriage record gives her name as Anna Jenckes, so I'm assuming an earlier marriage for her, but haven't yet found any more info. Nor have I found a record of any other children that Anna and Ebenezer Metcalf might have had. The Cumberland VR's (page 113) name the children of Ebenezer and his first wife Asenath Davis. I've included one, Liberty Metcalf, in my database because he had a son, Whipple Metcalf.
Also interesting in Stephen's will is the confirmation of his dau. Silence Whipple as the wife of David Sayles, so we got that right. And, Stephen's will confirms that he had a daughter named Sarah who was unmarried at the time of his will--a reference to my earlier email about Sarah/Sally Whipple who married Samuel Butler.
