Blaine Whipple, in email dated 3 Nov 1997, gives birth date of ca. 1640, at Ipswich, Mass., citing Frederick Clifton Pierce's _History of Grafton, Worcester County, Mass., from its Earliest Settlement by the Indians in 1647 to the Present Time 1879_ (Worcester: Chas. Hamilton, 1879).

!DEATH: Between 20 Nov 1708 and 7 May 1709, according to H.B. Whipple. 1708 date is from Galen Whipple (email hidden), in email to the Whipple Web Site 26 Aug 1997. Blaine Whipple (see note under "BIRTH") gives death date of ca. 1709. Email from Blaine on 29 Jan 1998 gives death place of Ipswich.
