Burrillville, Providence, RI who married Waity Keech of Burrillville, Providence, RI. This George Whipple might be George Washington Whipple {10071}, making Waity Keech his second wife. Ann Scott {10083}, wife of George Washington Whipple, died 13 Jan 1823; the oldest child of George Whipple and Waity Keech was born abt. 1827. Waity Keech was a widow when she married her second husband Caleb Comstock {see below} on September 13, 1844 in Burrillville, Providence, RI. George Washington Whipple {10071} died in Burrillville, Providence, RI on 18 Nov 1842. From 1850-1880 Waity (Keech) Whipple Comstock is enumerated on the censuses of Burrillville, Providence, RI, twice under the surname Whipple, twice under Comstock. Her death is recorded as Waity Whipple. Of course, without proof, it's just speculation, but the dates and location 'fit.'"

Norma writes: "The AFT 29 Aug 1793 DOB for Joseph's father George Washington Whipple ... makes me wonder if a miracle occurred, as his mother Sarah Mawney was born Abt. 1735. Maybe somehow a generation was skipped, or there's another Joseph involved. Too many Joseph's, I'm sure."
