!CONFLICT: Sources seem to confuse this Hannah with RIN 6115. C.A. Hemenway Newton (p. 6) lists a daughter named Sarah Arnold (b. 1718), who married Nathaniel Jillson (d. 1785). Are they the same person?
!CONFLICT: R.S.D. Eddy gives her marriage date 22 Feb 1738 in Smithfield, Rhode Island, citing Vital Records. Other sources, however, give her death on 1 Apr 1727.
!BIRTH: Carlton E. Wheeler (email hidden) points out (7 Jul 1999) that Hannah's birth on 5 May 1695 would have been when her father, Job, was only 11 years old.
!MARRIAGE: "Uriah's second wife was Hannah, widow of William Arnold and daughter of Job Whipple." --R.M. Bayles. R.S.D. Eddy shows Hannah married to (1) Nathaniel Eddy, (2) William Arnold, and (3) Uriah Mowry.

"It seems that there are two Hannah Whipples here, and that (possibly) William Arnold (1695-?) married both of them, again an aunt-niece relationship (if I've correctly posted my data)."The first Hannah Whipple, d/o Eleazer and Alice (Angell), b. abt 3/5/1695 from her age of 32-0-6 when she died 4/1/1727 (Arnold's VR), married William Arnold (s/o John and Mary (Mowry) Arnold) 12/27/1717 in Providence, RI (Arnold's VR). William and this Hannah are the parents of five children whose births are recorded in Smithfield, RI (Arnold's VR). After her death William Arnold married Margaret Capron (5/5/1729), Hannah Hayword (4/1/1740), and Hannah Whipple (5/18/1755). These marriages took place in Smithfield, RI and all are recorded in Arnold's VR.
The Hannah Whipple who married William Arnold in 1755 is the d/o Job and Silence (Pray) Whipple, but she most likely was not born in 1695 as Silence was born abt 1681 (per her tombstone). The first marriage record I have for this Hannah Whipple is to Nathaniel Eddy on 2/22/1738/39 in Smithfield (Arnold's VR). She is listed in this record as Hannah Whipple, d/o Capt. Job Whipple, so it would appear that this is her first marriage. She (Hannah Eddy) next marries William Arnold on 5/18/1755 in Smithfield, RI (Arnold's VR). The last marriage I show for her (Hannah Arnold, d/o Job Whipple) is to Uriah Mowry (of Henry) on 12/28/1773 in Smithfield, RI (Arnold's VR).
