Notation on the site: These obituaries are clippings from unknown sources. Many are on file in scrapbooks at the Cuba Historical Society and possibly are from the local newspaper, the Cuba Patriot."
1918. Whipple, Dallas B. {7341} Dallas B. Whipple, for many years a prominent citizen of Cuba, died suddenly last Friday at Springfield, O. Mr. Whipple would have been seventy four years of age on October 11, and had spent most of his life in Cuba up to some twenty years or so ago, since when he lived at Bowling Green, O., and Portsmouth, Va. Mr. Whipple's wife {110264} died some four years ago. Two children survive-- Maude {110268}, wife of George C. Palmer of Cuba and George Whipple {110267} of Norfolk, Va. Mr. Whipple's remains were temporarily interred at Springfield, later to be brought east.
