I also saw on the website that you have my grandfather, Isaac Hubert Whipple (1909-1999), having a brother named Chauncey Whipple born in 1906. I spoke to my great uncle last night, William Winge (my grandmother Ellen Winge's brother), who is 91 yrs old and who also grew up around my grandfather's family and was extremely close with my grandparents their entire life and asked him about Chauncey Whipple. He told me that he has never heard of another brother in the family named Chauncey Whipple. I also have all of my grandfather's family photos and I have never seen or heard of Chauncey. Can you tell me where you received this information? I think it may be an error.Note: Since Chauncey isn't listed with his parents and siblings in the 1910 Census, Patrick is quite likely correct. The 1910 Census of La Crosse Ward 18, Wisconsin, lists a Chauncey Whipple, age 4, as the only child of C.J. Whipple (age 31) and Caroline Whipple (age 29). Could this individual be the La Crosse Chauncey?
