Charles birthdate is listed on your site as 13 Aug 1782 at North Providence. I have his birthdate as 28 Apr 1779 (family bible transcription and this also agrees with census birthdates). I believe North Providence is correct.

Charles death date is listed on your site as 21 June 1840 at North Providence. I have his death date as 16 January 1866 in Westmoreland, Onieda County New York. The date is confirmed by "Rome Citizen Death Notices in 1866" per the oneida county rootsweb site - it lists" Whipple - in Westmoreland, New York, January 16, 1866, Mr. Charles Whipple, aged 86 years. Rome Citizen Newspaper 26 January 1866). The place of death of Westmoreland makes more sense to me than Rhode Island. I have found him and his family in the census records for 1820 - 1860 in Westmoreland. Also one of your sources listed is Henry E. Whipple, p. 18. Settled in Westmoreland, N.Y. Which also makes sense to me.
