Norma writes: "There is a marriage record for Jonathan Salisbury and Hannah Potter who married Sept. 23, 1755 in Scituate, RI (Arnold's VR, 3:3:27, Scituate 1:165). Jonathan made his will on May 23, 1754, leaving his entire estate to his unborn child. The will was probated on January 07, 1757. (Src.: Scituate, RI Probate Records 1:271-272). Hannah Salisbury married Samuel Smith, Jr. in Scituate on May 21, 1761 (Arnold's VR 3:3:28, Scituate 1:189). Furthermore, per Arnold's (1:2:62, East Greenwich 2:56), the Jonathan Salisbury who married Sarah Soule on June 14, 1778 in East Greenwich is the son of Jonathan, dec. of Scituate."
