I have The Descendants of John Mowry and, unfortunately, it sheds no light on Zerviah Angell's parents. It gives her birthdate as 12 June 1718, agreeing with one of your sources. It also gives the date of her marriage to Ananias Mowry as 2 March 1745, as you have it, but I think this wrong. You may notice that four of her and Ananias' children were born before that date. I don't think she was a second wife, however; the Smithfield vital records (Vol. 3 p.426) list all those children as "son[s] of Ananias Mowry and of Zerviah his wife." At the Rhode Island Historical Society Library, I found a manuscript list of marriages performed by William Arnold, JP. This manuscript is filed as MSS 267, Arnold-Holden Papers, Series I, F8. It reads, in part: "Ananias Mowry and Surfire Angel was married March 2, 1737/8." This date, which agrees in day and month but not year, seems more reasonable, since it comes before the births of all of the children. [Bold added by Weldon Whipple.]I have consulted several secondary sources regarding the children of John Angell and Sarah Clemence, but find no memtion of Zerviah. If you learn anything furthur, I should be happy to hear of it.
