!PARENTS: "I believe John Whipple, born Sept. 10, 1771, is the son of Nathaniel, born March 24, 1740/41. Both John and Nathaniel show up in the 1800 census for Cazenovia, New York. The 1850 census shows Rhode Island as John's birthplace. Nathaniel died in 1817 according to a newspaper obituary at the age of 78." --J. Lovell
