a framed sampler, wrought by Ann Lovett, containing the following names and dates, was owned by Mrs Helen Van Eps Hatcher of Hoffmans, Glenville, NY in 1967:James Lovett was born apr 6th 1733 died Apr 1, 1800
C. L. aged 9 months and 3 days
O W L aged 3 years and 4 months.
I believe, based on my research, that OWL is Olney Whipple Lovett b 1793, son of Whipple Lovett and Alpha Bartlett Lovett. Ann Lovett is dau of James Lovett and Ruth Whipple Lovett.
This sampler is now in the Schenectady Museum.
