!CONFLICT: The Sprague Database gives Joseph's birth date as 1710. However, Gen. of R.I. Families, 2:41, gives his death date as 1807, at the age of 75, making his birth sometime around 1732! Are these the same person? --Weldon Whipple, 21 Mar 1998.
