Ernest Whipple, 79, died suddenly this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert Wyckoff, 530 Eklund avenue. Mr. Whipple was a retired railroad man, and had come to this city about six years ago from his former home in Topeka, Kansas.He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Wyckoff of this city, and Mrs. Luella Bell, Topeka, and a sister, Mrs. Eunice Hawkins, of Sierra Madre, California.
Mr. Whipple had been a member of the Masonic order for the past 40 years and was a life member of the Knight Templar Commandery, of Topeka. The body was removed to the Pinnick mortuary where funeral arrangements are being made.
