MRS. WHIPPLE DEAD; WILL BE BURIED HEREMrs. Arilla Whipple, widow of the late Ithamer C. Whipple, died at the home of her son, William L., in Seattle, Wash., last Saturday, messages received here announce.Mrs. Whipple was one of the first settlers of Cheyenne and is widely known here. She came here in 1869, and resided here continually until two years ago, when she removed with her son and family to Seattle.In addition to her son she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. George W. Johnston of Kansas City, Mo. A wide circle of friends will extend sympathy to the bereaved families.W. L. Whipple will accompany the body to Cheyenne where the funeral will be held. The body will arrive Wednesday. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.Mr. Whipple is widely known in Cheyenne, having acted as cashier of the Stock Growers National bank for many years prior to his removal to Seattle
