Notes

Christened Anna Barbara WIPPEL in Roxheim, Germany the daughter of Christoph and Catharina Anne (Lauer) Wippel.

Arrived on the ship Strabo 6 Jul 1840, with parents and three siblings. The family settled in New Sewickley Township. Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Barbara married Jacob Neutzling in Pomeroy, Ohio; 2 May 1853, they had 8 children. Jacob was killed in a coal mine accident in 1866.

Barbara married 2nd (31 May 1869) John Steeg and moved from Pomeroy to Pittsburgh about 1871; they had a daughter;Josephine. John Steeg died about 1892 and Barbara married 3rd, (7 Jan 1895) widower John Burgman.
