Eben W. Whipple came from Palmer MA 1822 and located first in Windham, PA where he resided until 1829 when he came to town (Nichols) and settled on the farm now occupied by his son Andrew G. Whipple, Rd 33. He married Nancy, dau of Gideon Graves, soldier of the Revolution, by whom he (Eben and Nancy) had 11 children. D. Adams of Oswego (see further), Andrew G. of Nichols (see further), Martha who died ae 13, Harriett, widow of Anson Durham, Adeline widow of Frank Roper, David L. deceased, Mary P. wife of Levi Terbush, Nancy died ae 10, Eben d in infancy, Willett deceased, and Marcia who married James Lounsbury Jr. Mrs. Durham first m Robert Laning by whom she had three children, Judd, Willett and Robert.
