Gives birth 7/23/1703 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts and identifies parents, citing Putnam's Monthly Historial Magazine, published Sept 1893 Vol 2, No.1 - the article was written by Charles H. Preston and titled Genealogy of the Whipples of Ipswich for Five Generations (17 pages):

He was the son of Captn Matthew b 11.25.1672 and Bethia Unknown. The administration of Matthew's will was granted to his son William 6.31.1742. This William's marriage to Mary Adams was published 3.25.1737. His sister Bethia b 4.29.1705 was published to Oliver Appleton 11.16.1728, same source.
