He stated that he was born March 12, 1848 in Nashua, Hillsborough, NH and that he was the son of Otis Whipple, deceased, who was born in Dover, NH. Based on the 1850 census in Merrimack, Hillsborough, NH, William's father Otis Whipple {89485} was born in NH 1811-1812."
