- ID: I3143 Sylvanus Averill Whipple born 8 Jan 1795 in Warren Co., New Hampshire, USA Same Information as in Whipple.org. However she lists
Phelps, New York is not far from Oswego County, New York. Sylvanus was elected Deacon in Michigan in 1858. He may have been in Phelps, NY until 1857 where as Henty would have been 24 years old and his first child was born in 1855. Probably married before his parents went to Michigan.
