  Richard L. Weir Sr., was born March 12, 1919, in Oneonta, Otsego, NY, the son of James {45470} and Margaret Whipple {45467} Weir, and died June 12, 2002, in Albany, NY. Burial will be in in the Milford Center Cemetery.
  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Smith) Weir; one daughter, Donna and Ross Jones, of Richfield Springs; two sons, Richard and Bonnie Weir, of Hobart, and James and Cynthia Weir, of Maryland; one brother, John N. and Frances Weir, of Oneonta; six granddaughters; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Smith and Philip Smith and a sister-in-law, Marjorie Reichard. He was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Weir, and sister, Katherine Fuller.
