His birth is not recorded. His death is listed in Westborough Vital records where he is identified as the "son of Jonathan and Frances." A reading of Jonathan's will dated 13 February 1755 suggests that Jonathan, Jr. had a handicap. The will provided for "one-half the charge of his comfortable and decent maintenance and support in sickness and healgh during his life and one-half of his funeral charge. The other half to be borne by my son Francis ..."
