!MILITARY: Served in the USAF from 28 Jan 1948 to 29 Jan 1952. Saw duty at Tachikawa AFB, Japan, and RAF Station Celle, Germany. When in Germany, participated in the Berlin Airlift. Returned from overseas duty in September 1949. Served six years in the USAF Reserves. Member of the VFW and the Berlin Airlift Veterans Association.
