Notes

"On the 29th of August, 1850, the John Whipple family was living on a farm in the Fitchville Township of Huron County, Ohio. John Whipple was 38 and had been born in New York. His wife was Eliza age 30 also born in New York. They had 5 children: Henry age 11 born Ohio, Abner age 10 born Ohio, Darwin age 8 born Ohio, Wm. age 6 Ohio and John 2 years old born Ohio.
