• Mr. Glen Holliday of Lansing and Miss Floria Whipple {26349} married Nov 1916
• Vera Mae Whipple {26351}, youngest daughter of Harry {13016} and Linna Whipple, was born in Shepherd, Michigan, December 9, 1907, and died December 13, 1918, aged eleven years and four days. She leaves besides her parents two sisters, Mrs. Floris Holliday {26349} and Mrs. Lorin Best {26350}, both of St. Louis, Michigan. Vera will be missed by many as she made friends among the young and old. Funeral services conducted Sunday afternoon at the home by G. W. Rowlison, pastor of the Church of Christ. Interment is in the Salt River cemetery.

!SOURCE: Email from Janet St. Peter (email hidden) to the Whpple Website. She writes: "Hildred Whipple was my grandmother. I never knew her as she died in 1942 and I was born in 1949. I see you have her listed as Mildred. My mother always referred to her as Hildred, so I'm assuming she was correct." [Note: Prior to receiving Janet's note, Hildred was entered as "Mildred or Hildreth Rose Whipple."
