George W. Whipple was born 5.15.1873 in Novi, MI, son of O.M. Whipple and Lucretia Colvin. George married Nellie B. Tetreau 1908 in Detroit and had one daughter Eleanor Whipple.
George was first in business with his father (Whipple Lumber Co) and later organized and was President of the Advance Lumber and Shingle Company.
