States that "his death record Vol 112 P 66 Massachusetts Deaths, shows he died at Hahnemann Hospital, Worcester, Worcester, MA. Cause of death: chronic prostatitis with a contributing factor being old age. He was 82. Also, according to his death record, he is buried in Southboro, MA (the place of his birth)."

"Amid my 100 year old aunt's photographs [is] one of Alonzo Brigham Whipple taken in July 1897. Noted on the reverse is a statement that he was born in Southborough Mass on March 25th 1825. That doesn't stack up with the publication source quoted [earlier] - but we have had trouble with that source (Southborough Vital Records)" --T. Whipple
