!SOURCE: Email from B. Huckins to Weldon Whipple, 13 Apr 2008. "Allen was born 3.9.1817 Cattaraugus NY and died 9.21.1899 Wisc. He married Louisa Fenton of Jamestown NY 3.1.1837 (her name is given as Loiza in the census). Allen came from Dane County to Attica (Albany) Wisc to help run the saw mill there. In 1870 he lived down the street in Attica, Green, Wisc from his sister Mary Ann (Fenton)."
