!SOURCE: Email from Beverly H to Weldon Whipple, 18 Nov 2018. "William had a son with his first wife, Alvin M. Whipple. I believe Luna died at the birthing, Alvin was born in Michigan and was age 3 living with William and his second wife Mary Ann in the 1850 census in New York. He also appears with the family in the 1860 census age 13. Alvin died at age 16 and was buried in the McLean Cemetery in McLean NY."
