"The possibility that Robert Wallys of Ipswich, Mass., is descended from this Bocking family is currently under investigation. Specifically, it is of possible interest that Robert's daughter, Waray Wallis, married in Ipswich 19 Apr 1659 Simon² Stacy (Simon¹, Thomas, John). Simon¹ was of Bocking before settling in Ipswich. [John Wally's wife] Jane was sister-in-law to Susanna (Clarke) Whipple and therefore likely to have been known to Simon's parents."
