1. The Village of North Dunbarton is called Page Corner (this is where it meets the now Bow town line). The Stinsons were also early setters (two brothers William Stinson and Charles Stinson). Charles Stinson's daughter Mary married Charles Pillsbury (the flour king). One of Achash Whipple's sons married into the Stinson family. It is at Page Corner where the first store was kept by Jeremiah Page, ancestor of Achsah (Tenney) Whipple. The store passed to David Tenney.
2. Mrs. Achsah P. (Tenney) Whipple lived to the age of 100 years and 9 months. Her centennial birthday was celebrated June 28, 1886 by a large gathering of friends and family. Her only daughter married Joseph A. Gilmore who was a long time superintendent of the Concord Railroad and was Governor, State of New Hampshire. Her granddaughter was the wife of Hon. William E. Chandler.
