!SOURCE: Email from Chuck (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 27 Feb 2004. Chuck reports that this Sarah is not married to someone named Carleton. Rather, whe is married to William Jones. (J.G. Bartlett apparently confused this Sarah with her cousin Sarah (RIN 28702 in this database). Chuck writes:
In the database, Sarah Stone #28702 is not the Sarah Stone who married William Jones #28739. It is Sarah Stone #28757. She was born 12 June 1739 and died 26 Nov 1789 at age 50y 5m 14d and is buried in the North Cemetery, Lunenburg, next to her husband William Jones, born 11 May 1737, Lunenburg and died 23 May 1809 in Lunenburg. They married 15 Feb 1763 in Groton. We have seen the graves and have pictures of them.
