I have been looking for these families in the online censuses and found most of them. It appears quite a few of them left Luzerne Co, PA and relocated to Lawrence Co, IL. Other Luzerne Co, PA families relocated there as well -- Saum, Vandermark, Belles, Arnold. I even find some Hamptons there but I'm not sure what (if any) is their possible relation to Elizabeth Jane Sims Hampton or Polly Sims Hampton.

I believe I have also found what may have been Daniel Sims/Simms and Sarah (Whipple) Sims also living in Lawrence Co, IL in the 1860 census. I don't find them after that and believe that possibly they may have died there. I am going to see about finding a possible death cert for either of them. Online searches of cemetery listings may be helpful in that regard. And then see if either of them (both of them?) may have had any probate papers which may be found in the courthouse in Lawrence Co, IL. These could be very helpful if they specifically mentioned my Elizabeth Jane Sims Hampton along with the other supposed siblings I am noting below. I used the old family history information that was provided to me by my grandmother and was written many years ago by her uncle, Clyde Baker.
