!SOURCE: Email from Beverly H (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 3 Mar 2017. "I speculate that she was the daughter of Joshua Raynor and Hannah VanGlider, and the reason is that in the 1880 census Jeremiah Raynor, son of Joshua and Hannah, had living with them John M. Whipple, nephew (son of Jonah and Elizabeth). This is the only connection I could make which would put John as his nephew. Jeremiah Raynor and his wife Almira (Banks or Banker) resided in Niles same as Jonah Whipple and in the 1875 state census they are living with William and Mary J. Davis (Mary Jane Whipple daughter of Jonah). A record of the wife of Jonah Whipple could not be found other than in one tree where her name is given as Rainer. Assuming Jonah Whipple's wife was Elizabeth Raynor she was born 1821 in Cayuga County NY."
