I'm confused on Martha Patty Putnam, born 25 Nov 1777 in Brookfield, MA, one genealogy says she married Joel Whipple on 18 Jan 1803 (intentions) and died 29 Oct 1836 in Hardwick, VT, the other genealogy says Martha Patty Putnam born 25 Nov 1777 Brookfield, MA married Col. Benjamin Tupper and died 1842 in Putnam County, OH.Y Both genealogies say she had several children by both!!!!Y Maybe Martha and Patty were Twins??
