The only primary source I have been able to find is the death date for Elizabeth Stone Potter which is in Ipswich Vital Records, page 653 (10 March 1712).

References to the marriage of Elizabeth Whipple to Anthony Potter are found in the New England Historic Genealogical Society Register Vol. 10, p. 229, "Almanac Memoranda of the Stone Family of Watertown &c" and Vol. 11, p. 238, "Lane Family Papers."

While I have no primary sources to cite, I believe Elizabeth Whipple died childless and that Elizabeth Stone was the mother of all of Anthony's children.

The references in NEHGR, Vol. 86, p. 140-41, "Samuel and Sarah (Fellows) Knowlton" incorrectly identify John Potter as the "son of Anthony and Eizabeth (Whipple) Potter as does Vol. 109, p. 307, "Mrs. Wendell Ter Bush (Mary Louise Potter)" which identifies Elizabeth Whipple as the mother of Samuel Potter.

Samuel Potter is identified as the son of Anthony and Elizabeth Stone Potter in Vol. 148, p. 311, "Isaiah Wood of Ipswich."

Elizabeth's father, Gregory Stone, identified her as "my daughter Elizab Potter" in his will dated 22 Nov. 1672. A copy of this will can be found in NEHG Register, Vol. 8, p. 69-70. A footnote states that her husband's first name was unknown.
