!SOURCE: Email from N. Combs to Weldon Whipple, 14 Feb 2019: "On 8 Oct. 1906 in Elva A. (Harris) Olson {96697}, b. 8 Aug. 1874 in Winamac, Pulaski, IN, widow of Charles G. Olson (mar. abt 1899), applied for a marriage license to Barney S. Stiles b. 17 Aug. 1870 in Logan Co., OH, son of Andrew Stiles and Mary Dresback, both b. OH. (src: Indiana, Marriage License Applications). It was the 2nd mar. for both. This mar. apparently ended in divorce as Barney was remarried by the 1920 census; Evla reverted to 'Olson' from the 1920 census onward."

The Ancestry.com record from the Cook County, IL, Deaths Index lists his death as occurring on 4 June 1914 in Chicago, Cook, IL. (Elva indicated on her 1908 mar. application that she was a widow.) "
