I found John Mixer's probate records (NEGHS - American Ancestors) which show his name to have been John H. Mixer.Y According to Probate he died around May of 1839 and his wife's name was Amey (no last name given in Probate).Y At the time of his death, he had three children: YCharlotte Eliza who was of age, Edwards YW. who was above the age of 14 and under age of majority who Ychoose his own guardian, Yand YF. L.Y Mixer who was under the age of 14, guardianship awarded to the mother Amey.Y John's brother, YRufus Mixer, was the administrator of his estate and states he was the eldest living brother and that both wife Amey and daughter Charlotte of age refused administration.

I Yhave not concluded how this [individual is] related to the Mixer who married Experience Whipple but they were of the same geographic area so undoubtedly related.

John Mixer and wife Amey Whipple Mixer are buried, along with daughter Charlotte, in Webster Mass, Mt Zion Cemetery. The stone looks to me like a replacement or newer stone and has dates for John of 1794-1840 and Amey 1795-1863. Charlotte is on same stone so my guess would be it was placed around 1909 when she died. I don't think the dates are exact for the parents but cannot find the original cemetery records.
