!SOURCE: Email from Beverly H (email hidden) to Weldon Whipple, 11 Jun 2020. "The obits of both Evelyn Hurd and Frederick Hurd mention survived by a sister Rachel Stuart/Stewart of Arizona. I could not find a birth record of a Rachel Hurd nor Rachel Whipple born to Rena. When Earl and Rena died together in 1937, their children were being cared for by family members in the 1940 census as shown above. A Rachel Hurd born about 1935/36 was being cared for by Carl and Fannie Taylor in Swanzy, Cheshire, NH in 1940, relationship unknown. I could find nothing further on Rachel."
