In History of Laclede, Camden, Dallas, Webster, Wright, Texas, Pulaski, Phelps and Dent Counties, Missouri (1889, FamilySearch Identifier 190461), p. 773, itus stated that SGeorge and Silence (Whipple) Henson were Tennesseans, and came to Missouri in 1819, spending the rest of their days in Pulaski County, where George followed the occupation of blacksmithing.T
