It would appear that the parents of Clarence William Whipple {66967} are: William G. Whipple, born IL March 1873 and died after Jan. 1920, who married about 1896 Alma Z. ?, born KS March 1874 and died after Jan. 1920. (src: June 6, 1900 Federal Census, Sedan Twp., Chautauqua, KS, p.97). According to the April 18, 1910 Federal Census, Sedan Twp., Chautauqua, KS (p.217), Clarence was born in KS abt 1903 (age 7 on census). William's parents were born in England; Alma's father was born in Germany and her mother in NY. They were the parents of one child. The family was living in Blue, Jackson, MO when enumerated on the Jan. 15, 1920 census.Norma located her death records on the KSGENWEB site: "Whipple, Alma Zillah female 74 w 21 Apr 1953 Sedan {NAC note: Clarence's mother?, but DOD in 1953 age 74 means BD abt 1879}" (Src: Deaths In Chautauqua County, KS; records found in the Sedan City Clerk's office and posted to KSGENWEB by Del Huggins.)
