!OCCUPATION: Dr. Harshbarger, specialist in chest surgery, was a member of the Riverside Medical Clinic and affiliated with the Riverside Community Hospital and the St. Bernadine's Hospital where he was a member of the Heart Surgery Team. --Obituary
!EDUCATION: Graduated with a B.S. Agriculture, 1941 and M.D. 1950 from the University of Illinois. He served 4 years in the Medical Service Corps, U.S. Army, 1941 to 1945. Following his internship at Henry Ford Hospital, he joined the Christie Clinic Staff and served there from 1951 to 1953. He completed a residency in surgery at Mayo Clinic in 1957 just prior to starting his medical practice at the Riverside Medical Clinic. --Obituary.
