• The Vital Records of New Braintree, Norfolk MA to the year 1850, as pub by NEHGS, page 119, has a record of Ware, Abigail, wid (intentions state Mrs. and omits widow) and John Harris 7.2.1787. This same page states Oliver Ware and Mrs. Abigail Whipple 3.5.1778, intentions not recorded.
• There is another source which puts both these men as husbands of Abigail Whipple b 8.9.1758 but no sources are given (John Harris of Hardwick MA and Springfield VT, Helen S. Ullmann, Vol 10, 2005)
