First, there's a discrepancy about William's wife.Y Here's what I've found about Elizabeth.Y I believe this is one person, although there is obvious name confusion.Y You have identified her as I158420.

"Vital Records of New Haven, 1649-1850, Part I" published by The Connecticut Society of the Order of the Founders and Patriots of America, c. 1917 in Hartford.Y On p. 579 "New Haven Vital Records" it states:Y This certifies that Wm C. Whipple of Hamden & Elizabeth Fayt of New Haven were Joined in marriage on the 1st Novr, 1836 by me, Newel JohnsonY Justice of Peace."

FHL film 1405868, image 167, "Marriages of New Haven, New Haven, CT" states:Y "Whipple - This certifies that Wm. C. Whipple of Hamden & Elizabeth Fayt of New Haven were Joined in marriage on the 1st Novr 1836 by meY Newel JohnsonY Justice of Peace.

Fayt, Foyt, or Foit, this family was very elusive.Y I found "Louisa Foyt" in the 1830 census, New Haven Town (except City), New Haven, CT, with a number of other household members.Y On the same page there is a "Betsey Sperry."Y In the time I was able to give to this I was unable to find Henry Foyt, any other mention of Louise/a Foyt (by any spelling), or the Sperrys, with the resources available to me.Y I suspect Osborn was Elizabeth's middle name, rather than her surname.Y Not sure why Andrews entry is as it is.Y I could not locate a Henry and Louise Osborn, either.
